Join Our Team As a Technical Production Assistant

We are looking for a Technical Production Assistant to collaborate with the Production Manager and the Factory Manager, ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities in our production plants.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and monitoring production requirements and resources.
• Collaborate in cost estimation and the establishment of quality standards.
• Support daily monitoring of production processes, both quantitatively and qualitatively.
• Supervise the efficiency of production processes, ensuring compliance with quality and food safety standards through periodic controls and audits.
• Ensure the correct execution of specific procedures.
• Verify that supplied products and services meet the technical purchase specifications.
• Review and update technical data sheets of finished products.
• Contribute to the proper functioning of equipment and the adequate management of resources and materials needed for production.
• Participate in the development of production plans, ensuring the achievement of company objectives.
• Work closely with other departments such as Quality and Logistics to ensure smooth and efficient production.
• Supervise and control inventories of raw materials and finished products.
• Ensure the correct implementation of quality and environmental documentation in their area.
• Supervise metal detection and other quality controls.
• Participate in process validation, sampling, product shelf life, and labeling.

Requirements

• Higher professional or university education in Industrial Engineering, Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
• High level of English, both spoken and written. Other languages are valued.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role in the food industry, leading or participating in production processes in the food industry, seafood products, fresh and/or frozen products, or similar roles in the food or manufacturing industry.
• Experience in monitoring production lines and production projects, preferably in an international context.
• Knowledge of food safety and quality regulations.
• Strong office skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, and advanced Excel).
• Availability to travel and support production supervision abroad when required.
